When they advertise and give free samples, you know you gotta go. Aside from selling groceries, they also sell prepared foods. You can cater any of the BBQ items and their tacos too! The tacos are cheap but keep in mind that they are pretty small! They also sell ceviche, turkey legs, and hot dogs!

Review for outdoor bbq offerings. For the price, $15.99 for a huge amount of moist, tender brisket, beans, rice and a free brisket taco…it really can’t be beat. Friendly staff, good vibes, great food. I’ll try the wings and ribs next time around.

Primo Market is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great BBQ, fresh ceviche, and a friendly atmosphere. If you’re planning on drive here, they have a small parking lot right alongside their building, along with street parking in and around the neighborhood they’re nestled in. I would say that this place has 3 core areas: the market, the BBQ, and the taco stand. Walking into the market, you may be greeted right away by a sweet lady who offers free samples of their ceviches and explains the flavor profiles of all of them. Right outside the market entrance, Primo’s has offerings of BBQ meats, and the workers hand out generous samples of their brisket and tri-tip. Around the other side of their building, they have a bench area that leads to a window in the wall with a menu of tacos, burritos, burgers and plates. I overheard a lady that was picking up over 200 tacos, so I guess they provide catering-sized orders. The next time I do come down to Oceanside, I hope to pass by Primo’s and have a taste of their lunch options. I was very much satisfied with the tri-tip with their BBQ sauce, along with the aguachiles and chips.

Had a chance to visit this place a few times, I tried the brisket, it was tender, I also tried the Mac & Cheese, seasoned well, I tried the beans. I also tried the Aqua Fresca ~ Mojito style. All was good, customer service was great, and try the ceviche samples.

What a wait-time for some tacos but you’ll soon forget why you stood there so long. Right after you sink your teeth in some 69¢ goodness. This place has it all and quite the variety of meats to purchase as well but you have to commit. Don’t complain in that line, and there are some hardworking individuals here. Wait, be kind, and thank anyone who gives you a plate of terrific food! -Cheers

We just moved to the neighborhood and wanted to make some tacos for my boyfriend so I came and bought some meat -( Carne asada , adobada and chicken ) we got some tortillas and some ice cream 🍨! Martha is the one who helped us and she was so helpful and kind . The entire store was clean and well stocked and organized! I found parking out front and definitely recommend this store to anyone who is looking for some good meat and your cooking needs.

Authentic Mexican flavors done right. Eat in, take out, or grab staples like salsa from the market. My chorizo breakfast burrito was huge, the tortilla alone could’ve made four smaller burritos and only $5.99. I’ll be back for more.

Ok. Sooo, I've eaten at a lot of taco joints around the county and let me tell you.... If you want fantastic street tacos and dont want to break thee bank Primo has you covered! Taco Tuesday 69 cent tacos! They're mini, but packed for their size! I did 5 carne asada and 5 el pastor. Perfect ammount. Highly recommended! Its busy, but seriously worth the wait!

If you’re anywhere near Oceanside on a Tuesday, Primo Market is absolutely worth the stop—and honestly, worth making a weekly habit. The Tuesday specials are hard to beat: • Tacos for 69¢ each • Chicken wings: 10 for $10 • Tamale special: 2 for $9.99, which also comes with an agua fresca We didn’t even manage to get a picture of the wings—those were gone while we waited for the tacos, which should tell you everything you need to know. The wings were good-sized, flavorful, and genuinely delicious, not skimpy or overcooked. For tacos, we went with carne asada and chorizo, and both delivered. The meat was well-seasoned, satisfying, and exactly what you want from a solid neighborhood market taco. Simple, authentic, and done right. We paired everything with horchata, which was refreshing and balanced—sweet without being overpowering. On the way out, we grabbed the strawberry tamales and agua fresca, planning to save them for dessert. A smart move. The tamales were a great finish to the meal and felt like a bonus win on top of already ridiculous value. Bottom line: Primo Market on Tuesdays is a steal. Great food, generous portions, unbeatable prices, and zero gimmicks. Well worth visiting on a Tuesday—every Tuesday.
